Park Signalling Unipart Rail expand working their relationship with RDN

Radio Data Networks are pleased to announce the expansion of their relationship with Park Signalling, part of Unipart Rail. The relationship which dates back almost 15-years between the Directors of RDN and Park Signals. The closer relationship is seen as an important step to the delivery of critical railway infrastructure monitoring projects for the UK and Irish rail industries, potentially over RDNs private licenced radio channels, which already extend across Northern Ireland.

In the past, the relationship was used to deliver projects concerning safety on the UK’s single track RETB system. Further, the directors of RDN have independently executed a number of successful strategic rail projects including the delivery of the UKs first Critical Rail Temperature monitoring system between 2001 and 2004, which won the Rail Industry Innovation Award in 2007. Other rail projects include drainage and sewer monitoring, embankment slip monitoring and axle box temperature monitoring.
