The CamVerifiTM  CSO Spill Verification System is part of an advanced family of British designed and manufactured smart flood monitoring systems designed to deliver accurate, dependable, real-time supplementary CSO spill reports for UMON3 and UMON4.

With fines reaching 6-figures for critical high spill locations, the ability to differentiate with total confidence between a false positive or negative spills, can result in significant savings and result improved public relations.

Unlike simple time-lapse camera systems, there CamVerifiTM  CSO monitoring system can uniquely include smart sensors such as of our industry proven FDT smart sensors to detect the onset of a spill or equally can be triggered from one of RDNs local UMOM3 level sensors or equally a Vegamet controller.

Using for example the FDT the CamVerifiTM  CSO is able to lie dormant, conserving power, not filling up TB of cloud storage with associated carbon emissions.

Cost savings can be significant, as not only can false positives and negates be eliminated but also the data can be used to calibrate the spill point without need for a site visit. The system can also be used to detect false spills caused by reverse flows into a network caused by for example a drainage ditches backing up or local flooding.

Each CamVerifiTM system is designed and manufactured in the UK and can be configured like “Lego bricks” to meet the specific requirements of CSO spill point.

With each system there can be up to two FDT smart sensors to trigger the camera. Usually, one positioned at the pre-spill and the other at the spill point, each causing the camera to wake and to accelerate the upload of pictures to the dashboard.

Installation is simple, there is no need for mains power, and often can be undertaken in under an hour, with systems delivered fully pre-tested with batteries installed ready to go and with optional solar panels pre-wired to simply plug in.

In summary, the CamVerifiTM CSO is the perfect tool for deployment to verify those high spilling CSO overflow. There is no need for mains power and with fines topping 6-figures that ROC can be a matter of days.
