At Radio Data Networks, we specialise in temporary and permanent SUDS retention and NFM flow measurement solutions.
SUDS retention is the temporary storage and controlled release of stormwater to reduce flooding and improve drainage sustainability. Our SUDS retention systems help understand the performance of refection ponds, compare theory practice, model optimisation and pre-curser to installing smart flow control.
Natural Flood Management uses natural processes and landscape features to slow, store, or absorb water in order to reduce flooding downstream. NFM flow measurement is used to monitor how much water is flowing through rivers, streams, drains, or catchments; how quickly water levels rise after rainfall; and whether NFM measures are reducing peak flows. Our NFM flow measurement systems compare theory to practice before and after NFM, drought deficit monitoring, pre-curser to installing smart flow control.
We are proud to work with various FCRIP programmes and Councils in the UK surrounding SUDS and NFM solutions.
