Overview
The BDT Level Sensor is an industry leading real-time data sensor for wastewater and water level monitoring. UK manufactured and engineered for use in harsh and hazardous environments above and below ground level. With ATEX and UKEx Zone 2 certification, it is well-suited for deployment in remote areas and hazardous environments, making it a reliable option for water utilities and environmental management companies.
Easy Installation & Minimal Civils Costs
The BDT Level Sensor is designed to be ‘plug and play’, where the transmitter head is pre-assembled with mounting brackets making installations easy. Our stainless steel mounting brackets reduce the need for confined space entry teams as they can be mounted at the top of a chamber. This makes it the ideal solution for hard to reach locations, minimises health and safety risks and gives the flexibility to place in chambers of all sizes. Mount the gateway on either an external or internal wall and associated wiring if applicable, and that’s it.
Set your BDT Level Sensor height in the chamber, by curling up the wire to the desired height. In operation this sensor will detect when the level is HIGH and will send data back to a nearby Cellular Gateway or BMS/SCADA Gateway used to raise an alarm.
Data Communications
The Cellular Gateways & BMS/SCADA Gateways are designed to allow clients to expand their portfolio of sensors, thanks to our plug in relay cards. Our gateways can either be four-way or eight-way as standard, meaning one gateway can hold up to four BDT Level Sensors or eight BDT Level Sensors or similar at one time.
Integrate other triggers and 3rd party equipment with our BDT Level Sensor gateway or monitor via our Sentinel365 cloud dashboard via a website browser from your smartphone or desktop 24/7. The BDT Level Sensor sends health check messages every 2.5 seconds. Each gateway show visual LED status messages for HEALTH, FAULT and IN ALARM.
