We conduct regular and specific risk assessments in all areas of the manufacturing facility, including:
Machine safety (e.g., guarding, lock-out/tag-out procedures)
Manual handling
Exposure to hazardous substances (e.g., chemicals, fumes)
Fire, electrical, and noise hazards
Control measures are implemented, monitored, and reviewed to ensure effectiveness.
All employees receive a health and safety induction upon joining.
Job-specific training is provided, including safe use of machinery and manual handling.
Refresher training is conducted regularly or when new equipment/processes are introduced.
Supervisors monitor on-the-job safety compliance.
All equipment is inspected and maintained according to manufacturer and legal requirements.
Safety devices such as emergency stops, guards, and warning systems are regularly checked.
Only trained and authorized personnel may operate specific machinery.
Emergency evacuation routes and assembly points are clearly marked.
Fire extinguishers and first aid kits are readily available and maintained.
Fire drills and emergency response training are conducted regularly.
First aiders are trained and available on-site at all times.
Health and safety performance is reviewed monthly by our Health & Safety team
The policy is reviewed annually or in response to significant changes in operations or legislation.
Feedback from employees is actively sought and considered in safety planning.
