RDN Helps to Keep Guernsey’s Beaches Clean

We are pleased to announce that RDN have been awarded a contract to expand our CSO monitoring system for the Channel Island of Guernsey.

The system that operates on RDN’s Ofcom licenced radio band delivers real-time data feeds to the Islands infrastructure concerning the operation of the Islands Wastewater Networks, and expands the network that was first installed in 2014/15, followed by the Islands real-time water distribution network in 2020.

Guernsey is famous for its miles of beautiful unspoilt beaches and during non-Covid time relies to a great extent on tourism for its income, hence keeping its beaches and bathing waters clean is of utmost importance to the Government and the Islands.
