Entry details can be obtained by following the link http://www.theiet.org/global-challenge

The Global Challenge is an exciting competition for teams of young innovators aged 18-35 to use their engineering, technical and commercial skills to develop an innovative solution to this real world problem – the increasing plastic waste in our oceans!

Greenpeace and GreenSeas Trust have set two very different challenges on the topic of plastic pollution. However, your team can ONLY enter ONE challenge. You can decide which of the two challenges you would like to enter.

Both challenges will have a winning team who will both receive a £500 cash prize and trophy. Plus an all-expenses-paid trip to attend IET’s prestigious Innovation Awards ceremony in London where the winning solutions will be revealed.

So please support the Global Challenge and sign up before the March 15th deadline
