Radio Data Networks has been appointed as the official lead sponsor of the IoT and Telemetry Village at this year’s Water Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring show WWEM, to be held between the 21st and 22nd November 2018 at Telford.
Managing Director and Founder of Radio Data Networks, Brian M Back stated “I have always been a great fan of WWEM, its focus on sensing and monitoring for the water, wastewater and environmental sectors makes it an ideal location for an IoT and Telemetry Village and we are proud to be its lead sponsor. Virtually every sensor these days has some form of connectivity and wireless whether it is Bluetooth for programming or Radio Telemetry / IoT for longer distance communications.”
Mr Back who has been involved in the delivery of Radio Telemetry and IoT applications in the UK is also the Vice Chair of the Low Power Radio Association (www.lpra.org) who will also be sponsor at the village. The LPRA is a not for profit the trade body set up in 1990 to act as an interface between government, regulators and industry on wireless matters including Telemetry and more lately IoT. Added “I personally have been involved with the LPRA since its inception and RDN has always been a member.” He added “I have found the LPRA an invaluable source of knowledge and very good value for money. Not only do we get the chance to get market insight, a monthly news-letter, on-line promotion, but there is a fantastic free to attend bi-annual conference called Radio Solutions.” The next Radio Solutions is in May 2019 and tickets can be reserved now by visiting the http://www.lpra.org/news/new-article-page-158/
