The logistics industry is constantly plagued with both security and cargo miss-delivery issues.

With respect to security millions of pounds of goods are stolen each year both in planned and un-planned raids. These can occur equally in the depot or on the road. Tracking has been around for a number of years however are expensive to run and to maintain and in truth are of limited success.

Major incidents have occurred when the wrong cargo has been discharged into the wrong tank. In the water industry there has been some serious cases of poisoning when the wrong chemicals have been added to dosing plants and highly toxic chemicals have been dumped into sewage treatment plants.

We offer a number of unique and bespoke alternatives to tracking – which include long range active RFID tags that raise an alarm if a trailer is broken into within a depot, will identify and verify a driver with a tractor / trailer combination, operate traffic lights and warn a driver if his cargo is not intended for the destination that he has arrived at.
